A new simple idea, create a smaller inner hole in the elastic giving you a lighter, slimmer 1.8mm outer diameter with a higher rating. The other advantage is the elastic will not flatten out as much so will run slightly smoother. Take a look at the comparison photo with the new Light Blue in the middle showing my 1.8mm White and Pink, also the 2.1mm Green.
